Another piece in the rapid build-up of key partnerships with world class suppliers for UK based Trouvay & Cauvin has been created. This will further enhance the company’s ability to provide multi-product packages for the oil and gas industry. The latest agreement with CDB Engineering of Italy has enabled TC to set up a specialist filtration division to provide consultancy and appropriate products for users in this area.

CDB delivers a very comprehensive filtration range from classic temporary strainers, the universally used Y and T type strainers, Simplex and Duplex filters through to totally packaged filtration units. Customers will benefit from products that are fully complient to ISO 9001 and PED standards and further backed by ASME approvals.

Eric Buchanan, Managing Director of TC comments “Filtration has become more demanding and requires specialist knowledge. With the increasing emphasis on efficiency, reducing plant down time and maintenance to a minimum is vital. Pipeline debris can be a source of serious damage and loss in production time. Skilful, efficient and consistent removal is the prime benefit of CDB’s expertise.”

Expressing great confidence with the agreement, CDB Managing Director Valentino Sgaribaldi says “We were impressed from the start with Trouvay & Cauvin’s commitment to customer support and technical and commercial excellence. They have particularly good relationships with global engineering contractors and customers in places like Libya and Egypt. I know CDB can play an important role.”

This partnership follows closely on from other significant agreements with Tejas – choke valves, Arflu – gate, globe and check valves and Viar Valvole – ball valves.
