The Oil and Gas Industry is the driving force behind Libya’s economic development, providing the massive investment needed for the country’s ambitious infrastructure plans.
Trouvay & Cauvin Ltd have been successfully supplying valve & piping packages to this market in Libya for over 35 years.
The exhibition, held on the 16th - 19th February, was split into two sectors - one dealing with the Oil and Gas sector; the other with the Utilities sector. There were approximately twice as many exhibitors in the former sector as opposed to the second. The exhibitors, although relatively few in number at about 150 in total, were of high calibre and included Brown and Root, Petro Canada and BP.
The decision was made to exhibit in the Oil & Gas sector to showcase Trouvay & Cauvin’s range of pipeline equipment made up from its Key Supplier Alliance - this includes VIAR VALVOLE Ball Valves, ARFLU Gate, Globe & Check Valves, ELMAC Flame Arrestors, CDB Strainers and Filters, TEJAS choke valves and INTERPIPE.
The stand was generally busy throughout the exhibition and well received by visitors. It gave Trouvay & Cauvin Ltd the opportunity to meet with existing clients including: Sirte Oil, Waha Oil, Zuetina and AGOCO, whilst also resulting in a number of new enquiries from clients previously unaware of TC’s full capabilities.
