Trouvay & Cauvin celebrated in style with a Dinner and Dance to mark its momentous 40th Anniversary. Most team members were able to join Eric Buchanan, the Managing Director, at the Clough Manor Hotel for an evening to remember.
Eric Buchanan spoke of the history of Trouvay & Cauvin Ltd, starting with the very first office in the U.K based in Grand Buildings in Trafalgar Square in London. The company was officially incorporated on the 14th November 1969 and, ironically, the Dinner was held on the very date that the first Board Meeting was ever held in the U.K.
Whilst now a British-owned company, the French Connection was remembered with great fondness. A toast was raised to absent friends like Mike and Peter from the Oldham office, Patrick Blanche and Neil Mason who continues to provide our French connection, Richard B - sunning himself in Egypt, Mike from Dartford, and of course Trevor, Richard and Greg.
A bottle of “Trouvay and Cauvin” champagne and chocolates were presented to everyone as mementos of a landmark in TC’s history.
