Trouvay & Cauvin UK recently delivered a complete package of carbon steel and monel piping items for Saudi Aramco Mobil. The package including pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, studbolts and gaskets was awarded through engineering and construction contractor Foster Wheeler Ltd (Reading) and is for an upgrade of a Saudi Aramco Mobil refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

 

In total over 360 separate line items were supplied which had to comply with Aramco, Exxon Mobil and Foster Wheeler specification of approved standards and supplier lists. In addition to the design specifications, stringent requirements also had to be met for tagging, marking, colour coding and packing to meet both importation and on-site usage

 

Gary Lumley, Commercial Manager of Trouvay & Cauvin comments, “Over 100 separate requisitions were ordered and we had to consolidate materials from our chosen suppliers all over Europe in many shipment locations. Tight delivery times were met due to our administration and warehousing teams pushing extremely hard to meet the contractual deadlines.”
