Trouvay & Cauvin UK partner Arflu develops Clean Technology Division
23-11-2010
Arflu Industrial Valves SA, a long standing member of the Trouvay & Cauvin UK Supplier Alliance, is using its vast experience in the supply of valves to traditional energy markets as a platform for the creation of a new Clean Technology Division.
Working closely with the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and other engineering institutes, Arflu has developed and manufactured a range of valves which will increase plant efficiency and meet demanding conditions. With a range of valves already in use for the solar thermal market and prototype valves capable of operating in 600°C for molten salts service, Arflu is a front runner in valve technology in the sustainable energy industry.
Challenging current valve performance in oil, gas, petrochemical and energy markets has always been the Arflu philosophy and it is now is applying the same rigorous approach to new energy. “Having worked with the people at Arflu for a number of years, their working practices and commitment to improvements never fail to impress us,” says Jon Mason of Trouvay & Cauvin.

Arflu takes its local environmental responsibility just as seriously with environmental systems management certification (ISO 14001) due to be approved in the near future. It is an important factor in the choice of Arflu as a partner for Trouvay & Cauvin.
This Supplier Alliance also includes significant agreements with other leading product manufacturers: Tejas – choke valves, Viar Valvole – ball valves, Elmac – safety products and CDB Engineering – filtration and speciality piping products, who have all been chosen for their application of the same high standards
